Ticketing Platform DICE Launches Direct-to-Fan Merch Service
DICE, a UK born ticketing and live streaming service, is expanding into the merchandise market.
DICE claims they are partnering with “leading merchandise specialists” to create a direct-to-fan merchandise business.
In the center of this new proposition, artists will be able to run exclusive ‘product drops’ leading up to a show. Only fans that have tickets for these shows will be able to access and obtain this specific merch.
The platform will be called “Merch on DICE”, and it will let fans collect merchandise and have it delivered to their home.
DICE CEO Phil Hutcheon commented on this announcement stating, “We’ve built a beautiful direct to fan, mobile-only shopping experience specifically for live events, making it easy for fans to quickly order limited edition products that they can pick up at the venue or get delivered to their home.”
Hutcheon also added, “Merchandise will always have a deeply emotional draw on fans – it’s intrinsic to the live experience – and we want to make it better. We’re bringing artists and fans closer through merch on DICE.”
