Spotify launches Audiobooks

Spotify has announced that starting on September 20th, over 300,000 audiobooks will be available to purchase separately on Spotify by both Free & Premium users in the US on both desktop and mobile. Audiobooks will be integrated into the platform giving users the ability to purchase, download, and listen to their favorite books in the Spotify app.

There will be a new Audiobooks hub where users can browse the selection. Users can also find individual audiobooks using the audiobooks filter in Search. Once purchased, audiobooks will appear in the user’s library under the audiobooks filter.
