Spotify Canvas - Early Access

Independent Artist Tips

As Spotify continues beta testing Canvas, we are inviting select artists to test it out on their new releases.

The Canvas feature allows artists and labels to add a full screen video to their tracks on the Spotify platform. It replaces cover art and loops in the Now Playing view of the Spotify mobile app.

Spotify is currently testing this feature with a small, diverse group of artists and using their feedback to improve before they expand availability. In the meantime, we are looking to grant our allocated access to a few more independent artists.

If you are interested, please email our support team with the subject "Spotify Canvas Early Access" and include the following:

  • Your artist or label name
  • The UPC code for one of your upcoming releases
  • Your current monthly listeners on Spotify.

If you are requesting for a label, please provide the current monthly listeners of your top performing artist on Spotify.

To be eligible for review, you must be a Too Lost member with an active subscription. If you need to sign up, you can do so here.
