Sonos announces Sonos Radio, a new radio streaming service

Sonos, the well known audio manufacturer, is launching a new streaming service called Sonos Radio. Sonos Radio is an ad-supported digital streaming platform making its debut in April 2021. Sonos Radio will offer a variety of content, including genre based stations and artist-curated stations.

Sonos Radio HD will be offered to users for $7.99 a month. Through this paid subscription, users will be able to listen to, skip, rewind and browse through millions of songs in “lossless CD-quality”. Sonos Radio HD will also include all the same radio and music stations as Sonos Radio, except without the ads. 

Sonos claims that the addition of lossless quality audio will make it the best quality streaming radio service on the market.
