VELVETEARS is a singer/songwriter who has been releasing music since early 2016. The Harlem native has been able to combine aspects of alternative rap, r&b, and cloud rap to create a sound of her own.
The earliest release that can be found on Soundcloud is her song “None” produced by gin$eng. In 2018, Velvetears released her EP “Discography, Vol 1” which included two of her biggest songs to date.
On Spotify alone, “Will I Ever Care” amassed over 4.6 million streams and “Let Me Die” has been streamed over 3.2 million times. Between two more albums and countless singles, her fanbase continues to grow as she keeps putting out more content for listeners to enjoy.
