Artist Spotlight: Luke Chiang
Luke Chiang is a Tiwanese-American singer/songwriter who has the ability to make music for all listeners to enjoy. With his meaningful lyrics and soft instrumentals, Luke creates his own sound that is melodic, soulful, and soothing.
In Luke’s interview with HITZ, he expressed that he loves R&B and Soul, and plays the guitar, piano, and bass. Luke mentions that he has many musical inspirations including but not limited to Daniel Caesar, Kevin Garrett, and Tom Misch.
In 2019, Luke released his song “Shouldn’t Be” which caught the attention of listeners fast and it quickly gained traction. The song currently has over 75 million streams on Spotify.
Luke’s success continued throughout the rest of the year. Luke released his single “Used To Me” with over 15 million streams on Spotify, “Home” with over 11 million streams on Spotify, and “Paragraphs” with over 18 million streams on Spotify. As Luke continues to release music, more listeners will tune in to hear what he has to offer as an artist.
