Artist Spotlight: Joseph Tilley
Joseph Tilley is a singer/songwriter/producer making soft, melodic pop music listeners of all genres can enjoy. The Arkansas native has found a way to combine meaningful lyrics, mellow instrumentals, and his personality to create a sound all his own.
Joseph started making music at an early age. When he was younger he would borrow his grandmother's iPad to make music in Garageband. He would go on to teach himself how to produce and record his own music, creating the foundation of the artist we see today.
The earliest release that can be found on Joseph’s SoundCloud account is his single “Feelings”. His earlier sound was a little more up-tempo and he was using different instrumentals than you hear him on today. “Feelings” is what put Joseph on the map as an artist on the rise but it was his following release “I Want You” that proved why he stands out from other artists.
2019 was a big year for Joseph. He released his EP “Afraid to Lose You” and 5 singles. With each release, Josephs's popularity and fan base grew. Joseph continued to consistently make music throughout the years. His EP “Together” released in 2021 gained him a lot of recognition in the scene. The standout track on the project “Together”, has amassed over 1.6 million streams on Spotify alone.
Joseph’s most recent release “I Like You I Love You” carries the same sound and production listeners have come to love.
