Chinmaya Dunster is a musician, composer, and multi-instrumentalist who has been active in the music industry for over four decades. Born in England in 1957, Dunster began his musical career as a classical guitarist, studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London. He later became interested in Indian classical music and began studying the sitar, eventually becoming a disciple of the renowned sitar player Ravi Shankar.


Throughout his career, Dunster has released numerous albums that blend Indian classical music with elements of world music, jazz, and electronic music. His music has been described as meditative and spiritual, and he often incorporates themes of environmentalism and social justice into his compositions.
