Add your Twitch live stream to Amazon Music

Amazon is now letting musicians add their live streams, digital concerts and other content from Twitch directly into the Amazon Music app.

With COVID-19 cutting tour income out of the artist's pockets, Amazon is encouraging artists to create new ways to engage with fans and reach new listeners.

Although there isn't any direct monetization features available through the Twitch/Amazon Music integration yet, eligible artists can set up subscriptions on Twitch directly to earn money (as well as sell merchandise and participate in ad-revenue sharing).

While it is extremely difficult to digitally emulate the experience of a live show, you can now create more memories and experiences for your listeners in the comfort of your home. Fans can feel truly connected to you, whether you play unreleased music, record a new song or talk about what inspired your album.

According to Amazon, the integration of Twitch with Amazon Music mobile will let artists reach “stadium-size audiences” at a time when in-person events are limited because of the coronavirus crisis. The company also says Amazon Music has more than 55 million customers worldwide.

In the Amazon Music app, users can get notifications from artists they follow, including when the artist goes live on Twitch. In addition, Amazon Music has launched a new “Live” page.

Artists can visit artists.amazonmusic.com/live for more information about this feature, including step-by-step instructions for connecting their Twitch channel to the Amazon Music app.

If your music isn't currently on Amazon Music, you can use Too Lost to distribute your music there, along with 200+ other digital store & platforms. You can sign up to Too Lost here!
